Kids’ cancer research cleans up

The Kids’ Cancer Project is a national charity supporting bold scientific research that has the greatest chance of clinical success in the improvement of treatments of childhood cancer; the disease that kills more Australian kids than any other.

Business pivot that paved the way

Now more than ever, the importance of hand hygiene is an essential activity in our day-to-day life. This renewed focus on hand care led Sirron Holdings to develop a range of hand care products and dispensers for childcare centres which has provided the company with the perfect vehicle to promote the work of The Kids’ Cancer Project.

“We are offering childcare centres the opportunity to join our hand hygiene program, where hand dispensers are installed and retail products such as hand and body soaps, hand sanitiser and moisturiser are supplied ongoing,” says Sue Saunders, Product Manager at Sirron Holdings.

“The Kids’ Cancer Project will not only benefit from a percentage of those sales but the hand dispenser design includes The Kids’ Cancer Project logo, to raise awareness about the charity and its work,” says Sue.

“This is something we are really passionate about and will be communicating right through the supply chain,” Sue says.

Sirron Holdings and Taren Cleaning Supplies have been working closely together for the past seven years offering new and innovative products to the childcare and disability sectors. The Zexa Clean hand hygiene range was developed to deliver a safe, affordable and Australian made hygiene solution for our customers.

“Upon becoming aware of the great work that The Kids’ Cancer Project does in providing funding for childhood cancer research, we at Taren felt the need to contribute and get involved with this project.”

“I’m particularly impressed with their Bear program, where people can donate a teddy to children in hospital – it’s a small but vitally important way to assist with children’s wellbeing. We plan to facilitate helping as many children as possible in receiving those bears,” says Murray.
